Rachel Wise to star in Death Road Movie
Rachel Wise will join Colin Firth in the drama The Railway Man, directed by Lionsgate International. This is reported by the Variety edition. The movie will be based on the recollections of a British officer Eric Lomex, who was captured during the Second World War in Japanese captivity and was involved in the construction of the infamous railway, dubbed the Death Road. The main character was bullied by one of the Japanese soldiers, and years after the end of the war, he accidentally meets his tormentor. Wise will play the protagonist's wife.
