Universal will restart Mummy
Universal Pictures is set to reboot the popular Mummy franchise. This is reported by Variety. The script for the new version is assigned to John Speights, who previously worked on the plot of Prometheus. Sean Daniel has been appointed as the producer. Recall that the movie `` The Mummy '' was released in 1999 and has grossed more than $ 415 million worldwide. The sequel reached the box office of 433 million, and the final part of the trilogy earned $ 401 million, thus confirming the continuing interest of viewers in this story.
