The Hobbit movieing postponed due to surgery by Peter Jackson
The Long-Suffering Hobbit Dilogy troubles continue to haunt. Filming of the first part was again postponed, this time due to Peter Jackson's illness. According to the official press release from the director's representatives, Jackson was urgently hospitalized in one of Wellington's clinics with severe abdominal pain. Doctors diagnosed him with a stomach ulcer complicated by perforation and ordered surgery. “Surgery will not affect Sir Peter’s commitments to The Hobbit, but will only cause some delay in the production of movies,” says in a statement.
