Taylor Lautner apologized for gay hints
The Australian version of the popular GQ magazine apologizes for the question that was asked in an interview with the star of the Twilight saga Taylor Lautner. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it was a misinterpretation of the actor's business dinner with director Gus Van Sant and screenwriter Dustin Lance Black. The newspaper's reporter, asking Lautner about this meeting, suggested that renowned moviemakers, who did not hide their non-traditional sexual orientation, made unambiguous proposals to their young colleague. “Of course not. I'm sure they know that I am not gay. They are great guys and funny conversationalists. Do you have any other explanation for the meeting between the director, writer and actor ?, Lautner replied. Oscar laureate outraged by interview publication Dustin Lance Black, who wrote on his blog that he was “shocked by the author’s obvious assumption that all gay people are sexual predators.” Later, the magazine published a statement of apology on its official Facebook page.
