Discontinued John Gotti Movie
Gotti: In My Father's Shadow, a movie about New York City's famous mafia clan, has stopped. According to the resource Showbiz411, the reason is quite banal: the producers did not find sources of funding for the project. Recall that from the very beginning the picture was in trouble. For a long time it was unclear whether the disgraced Lindsay Lohan could play in it, then Joe Pesci sued the producers, accusing the latter of gross violation of his contract, and finally, the director Nick Casavetes left the project, giving way to Barry Levinson. It is not yet clear whether it will be possible to retain the impressive cast, but it is already clear that movieing will not begin in January 2012, as previously planned.
