Awards of the Moscow Film Festival
The Grand Prix of the 32nd Moscow Film Festival was given to the picture of Venezuelan director Marcel Raskin "Brother". The same movie received the Audience Award, as well as the USA Film Critics' Elephant Award. Nick Helilai received the Best Actor Award for his work in the movie Albanian, and the Best Actress Award was given to actress Vilma Cibulkova, who played in the movie Like Heaven on Earth. Polish director Jan Kidawa-Blonski was awarded an award for the movie The Rosette. For loyalty to the principles of the Stanislavsky school, the jury awarded the prize to the French actress Emmanuelle Bear.
