Cartoon Rango won the 2012 Academy Awards
The American Film Academy has announced the best cartoon of the year. It was Gore Verbinski's animation project Rango. His competitors were Puss in Boots, Cat Life, Kung Fu Panda 2 and Chico and Rita. 84th Academy Awards took place at the Kodak Film Center.
