Actor Bogdan Stupka passed away
In Kiev, People's Artist of the USSR Bogdan Stupka died at the age of 71. It is said that the cause of death was acute heart failure caused by cancer. The last days Bohdan Stupka was in one of the capital's clinics. The actor starred in dozens of movies, from 1999 to 2001 he served as the Minister of Culture of Ukraine. From 2001 until his death, he headed the National Academic Drama Theater named after I. Ivan Franko. Awarded State Prizes, in 2011 he was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.
