The shelf of biographical projects that Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks studio intends to deal with has arrived. According to Variety, the studio's plans now include a picture dedicated to the famous American composer George Gershwin, author of Rhapsody in Blues. and Porgy and Bess. The script for the movie, which will follow the composer's life from the moment of his birth to a family of Jewish immigrants from USA to his death in 1937, was prepared by Doug Wright.

When the shooting of the movie begins, it has not yet been specified. It is assumed that the work will start only after the premiere of the biopic about Martin Luther King, which is preparing DreamWorks.

Recall that Spielberg also plans a movie about Abraham Lincoln.
