Arnold Schwarzenegger and the owner of the rights to the Terminator franchise Mega Ellison agreed to shoot two sequels of the famous science fiction movie in 2012. This is reported by the resource Deadline.

This decision forced director Justin Lean, who was recently considered the director of Terminator 5, to leave the project, as in 2012 he will be busy on the set of Fast and Furious 6.

Note that the sequels do not yet have a script, and none of the major Hollywood studios have yet announced their readiness to finance the production of movies.

So far, it is only known that James Cameron has agreed to take part in work on the plot. Will the creator of The Terminator want take on some other functions is not yet clear.
