A couple of actors will host the Academy Awards
Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin are nominated to host the 82nd Academy Awards. This was reported on the official website of the American Film Academy. Martin had already hosted the show in 2001 and 2003; Baldwin had never had such an experience before. It is worth noting that this will not be the first time that multiple Oscars have been appointed. So, in 1987, the show was hosted by three actors at once. The 82nd ceremony will be produced by Bill Mekanik and Adam Shankman. The awards ceremony will be held on March 7, 2010.
