The DEEPSEA CHALLENGER submarine, in which James Cameron made his record dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, will be shown to the public for the first time.

The famous director and producer himself said this in his Twitter diary. The submarine will be on display on June 1, 2013 at the California Science Center in Los Angeles. Entry to the exhibition is completely free.

In the future, DEEPSEA CHALLENGER will be shown in other major cities of the United States before taking its place in the exposition of the Massachusetts Institute of Oceanography.

Recall that Cameron made his historic dive on March 26, 2012. At extreme depths, he shot a documentary using cameras that he developed in collaboration with Vince Pace.
