Construction of Avatar Amusement Park Started
The Walt Disney Company has begun construction of an Avatar themed section at Disney Animal Kingdom. This is reported on the official website of the company. The design and construction of the rides were developed by Walt Disney engineers in cooperation with James Cameron and his studio Lightstorm. Visitors to the park are promised flights to the Banshees, soaring mountains, glowing in the dark forests and other attractions of Pandora. The park is expected to start operating in 2017.
