Mel Gibson became a participant in another conflict with law enforcement officers on the highway to Malibu. According to TMZ, the scandal occurred during a routine blood alcohol test.

The car, which was driven by Gibson, was stopped by a patrol on the Pacific Coast Highway at about 1 am. The police asked the actor if he had been drinking and, having received a negative answer, asked him to show his driver's license.

Gibson did not have it, and the guards asked him to follow them for a check. It was this that caused outrage in Gibson, who began to shout at the police, accusing them of following him. The police inquired about the cause of the explosion of emotions, to which Gibson replied that he had similar conflicts in the past.
