John Cusack, who co-wrote and executive produced the as-yet-unnamed CBS Wall Street drama, will also be featured on the project as an actor. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The drama from Taylor Elmore and Benjamin Cavell (Justice) tells the story of Wall Street, where money and power rule. The protagonist Jackson (Charlie Cox), a smart and experienced hedge fund trader who once served his country in Iraq, has pure intentions and a desire to do good. The cast at the time of this writing includes Maggie Grace, David Morse, Sophie Okonedo and Joseph Lyle Taylor.

Cusack will play a cameo role in the pilot. His character Ted is a cynical trader who previously worked on Wall Street, but left the business. Ted's role is considered regular if the full season of the series is ordered.

Original story written by Elmore, Cavell, Cusack and Kevin McCabe. Elmore and Cavell wrote the script for the pilot episode. Sarah Timberman, Karl Beverly and Niels Arden Oplev will serve as executive producers. The latter was appointed the director of the pilot episode.
