2013 Academy Awards Key Dates Announced
The American Film Academy has announced the key dates for the 2013 Oscars. According to an official press release received by the Cinema News portal, the selection process for nominees starts on December 17, 2012 and ends January 3, 2013. The nominees for the award will be announced on January 10, 2013 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Hollywood. Note that the announcement of the nominees this time will take place earlier than usual, as the management of the Film Academy decided to give the electors more time to view the works-candidates.
