Ridley Scott will leave Matt Damon on Mars
Ridley Scott intends to direct the science fiction movie The Martian, starring Matt Damon. This is reported by the Variety edition. The script will be based on the work of the same name by Andy Weir, published in 2012 in electronic format. Its plot revolves around astronaut Mark Watney, left all alone on Mars. The crew of his ship was urgently evacuated from the planet during a severe sandstorm, believing that Mark was dead.
