Toys "R" Us stores have withdrawn from the trade a line of collectible toys dedicated to the heroes of the AMC series "Breaking Bad" in response to the demands of parents, outraged by the availability and sale of figures of drug dealers in children's stores. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Recall that about a week ago, one of the residents of Florida drew up a petition demanding to remove the figures of the characters of the drama Vince Gilligan from the shelves of Toys "R" Us stores. Based on the popular show about a high school chemistry teacher starting to brew crystal meth, the toy line featured two figurines – Walter White / Heisenberg (Brian Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul). In one performance, Walter White holds a tiny tray of blue crystals, in the other – bag with money. The Jesse Pinkman figure comes with a gas mask, which White's accomplice used to make the drug.

The chain's reaction was immediate and the toys were withdrawn from the market, despite being sold in the adult section of the store. In a statement, representatives of Toys "R" Us said: "Let's just say that collectible toys" went on sabbatical "for an indefinite period of time."

The petition was signed by eight thousand people. That figure represents 0.08 percent of the 10.3 million people who watched the final episode of the series in September 2013.

Brian Cranston reacted boldly to the petition in his own way, leaving on his Twitter page the following content : "I'm so pissed off
