James Cameron Proves Avatar Authorship In Court (Topic)

James Cameron and his studio Lightstorm Entertainment won a lawsuit, initiated by Gerald Moravsky, who claimed that Avatar based on his ideas. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

District Judge Margaret Morrow found that the evidence provided by Cameron confirms that Avatar was a completely independent project, developed over many years, more than enough.

Recall that the plaintiff himself claimed that Cameron acquired several illustrations from him in 1991, which formed the basis of the concept of the future movie.

In response, James Cameron provided the court with a 45-page document proving that he conceived the project in his early youth.
