Fox Television Booked Second Season of Sleepy Hollow
Fox has commissioned the production of the second season of the new series Sleepy Hollow, which is based on Washington Irving's novel The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, in advance of its third episode. Fox's head of entertainment, Kevin Reilly, said in an official statement that the show is a conceptually new project, unparalleled on television, with an original script and a fantastic cast. The first episode of Sleepy Hollow altogether attracted 13.6 million viewers in three additional days of airing, and became the most successful fall drama premiere on Fox, edging out its former favorite, 24 Hours. - set a record in November 2001.
