Universal to build an amusement park in Beijing
Universal will build a new amusement park in the suburbs of the Chinese capital. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The project cost is estimated at two billion dollars. Construction is due to start in the fourth quarter of 2014. This will be the third Universal theme park in the Asian region. The first two were opened in Tokyo and Singapore. The Chinese tourism company Beijing Tourism Group, which will be responsible for the allocation of land and become the investor of the project, will be Universal's partner.
