Bill Murray to star in a miniseries (Topic)

Bill Murray has joined the cast of What Does Olivia Know ?, which is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Elizabeth Stout. This is reported by Deadline.

Adapted for HBO by screenwriter Jane Anderson, the miniseries is about a seemingly calm New England city where illegal deals, corruption and other crimes actually flourish. The main character – Olivia Kitteridge is a rough at first glance, but has a strong inner core retired. She will be played by Oscar winner Francis McDormand, and Bill Murray will play the role of a local widower, Olivia's friend.

The series, directed by Lisa Cholodenko ("The Kids Are Alright"), features actors: Richard Jenkins (Olivia's husband), John Gallagher Jr., Rosemary DeWitt, Zoe Kazan, Jesse Plemons and others.
