NBC Will Tackle Devil's Advocate Television
Taylor Heckford's movie The Devil's Advocate will be adapted for television. According to Deadline, the pilot for NBC is produced by the original movie's producers John Wells and Arnold Copelson. The script for the TV project will be written by Matt Venn (Bag of Bones). The 1997 movie, based on the novel of the same name by Andrew Neiderman, stars Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, Charlize Theron, Jeffrey Tambor and Craig T. Nelson. With a production budget of $ 57 million, the box office grossed $ 153 million.
