Cable Channel Starz has announced the renewal of the miniseries "Missing" for a second season with eight episodes. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, citing Starz, the second season will feature new characters, a new setting and a new case being investigated.

In the first season of the BBC / Starz co-production anthology, Tony ( James Nesbitt), a father whose underage son Oliver went missing while on a family vacation in France. Unable to come to terms with the loss, Tony did not stop searching for a child for many years, sacrificing his marriage to Emily (Frances O'Connor).

Casting details for the second season have not yet been announced. It is known that the script, as well as for the first season, will be written by brothers Harry and Jack Williams.
