Garrett Hedlund will play Captain Hook (Topic)

Garrett Hedlund will play Captain Hook in the new version of Peter Pan, which director Joe Wright is ready to offer viewers. This is reported by the Deadline edition.

In the story, young Peng finds himself in a fairyland from an orphanage and leads an uprising of local residents against the tyranny of pirates. Hook will not be the only and most likely not the main villain. Earlier it was reported that Captain Blackbeard would be in charge of the pirates.

Premiere of the movie tentatively titled Peng will take place on June 16, 2015. Recall that Hedlund is known to viewers for the failed movie Tron: Legacy.
