AMC has ordered production of Season 2 Better Call Saul
AMC has commissioned the production of the second season of Better Call Saul, which is a spin-off of Breaking Bad. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the second season will consist of thirteen episodes, for a total of twenty-three episodes. The premiere of an hour-long episode of the first season has been moved from November 2014 to early 2015, and the release of the second season scheduled for 2016. Breaking Bad Creator Vince Gilligan is directing the premiere episode and will also share showrunner functions with Peter Gould, who came up with Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk). Filming for the first ten episodes takes place in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
