Boardwalk Empire renewed for a fourth season (Topic)

HBO has ordered the fourth season of Boardwalk Empire. According to Variety, this decision is due to the high ratings of the opening episodes of the third season, which was shown at the time of this writing.

Thus, its first two episodes were watched by an average of 2.5 million viewers. Recall that the finale of the second season gathered more than three million Americans on TV screens, which became a record for the HBO network.

Boardwalk Empire; has been nominated for numerous prestigious awards, including an Emmy Award. Director Tim Van Patten won the award for Best Director, Drama Series in the summer of 2012.
