Walt Disney Pictures and Paramount Pictures have shared the rights to Lucasmovie's second major franchise, Indiana Jones.

According to an official press release, from now on, all rights to rent and market future feature movies about This hero and his universe are owned by Walt Disney, while Paramount will continue to own the rights to the first four movies.

The partners did not specify when and in what form viewers should expect the popular series to develop. Recall that earlier George Lucas repeatedly spoke about the possibility of movieing Indiana Jones 5, but no exact time was given.

The last episode, called Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull; was released in 2008. She earned more than $ 700 million at the worldwide box office.
