Steven Spielberg to direct a TV series based on Halo
Steven Spielberg will oversee the creation of a live-action series based on the popular Halo series. The famous director himself announced this in a video message at the presentation of the Xbox One console. The timing of the project, as well as its other participants, have not yet been announced. Recall that for the first time information about Spielberg's possible participation in the movie adaptation of the events of the Halo universe appeared back in 2011. However, earlier it was not officially confirmed. Even earlier, the project was to be produced by Peter Jackson, who was going to entrust the director's chair to his protege Neil Blomkamp. They created not only sketches for the movie, but also shot several demos.
