The final episode of American Horror Story, aired on FX on Wednesday January 29th, attracted 4.24 million viewers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is the best performance among the finals of the three seasons of horror anthology.

Based on re-views, the episode `` Seven Wonders '' collected 5.8 million viewers from the screens, of which 3.88 million – age group from 18 to 49 years old.

The third season of the show – " Witches Sabbath " - is the highest rated season in the franchise. The premiere, which took place in October 2013, was watched by 5.54 million people. This is higher than those of the first and second seasons. Ahead of the Sabbat on FX only Sons of Anarchy with the premiere of the sixth season.

On average, 7.2 million viewers watched the third season, of which 5.1 million belong to the age group from 18 to 49 years old. So American Horror Story ranked third most popular on cable TV this season, behind only The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad.

The fourth season of the series, consisting of 13 episodes, will air on FX in 2014.
