A&E closed dramatic western Longmire
Cable Channel A & E Closes Longmire Series after the third season. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The western-inspired drama starring Robert Taylor and Katie Sackhoff will not be returning with a fourth season on A & E. According to sources, the series, which is the most rated drama of the channel, will be offered to other TV networks. In a statement, the channel's management thanked the actors, crew and producers of Longmire. for their tireless work in three seasons of the drama. The third season finale attracted 3.7 million viewers from the screens, of which only six hundred people belong to the key audience aged 18 to 49. For comparison, that of the season 2 finale was 16 percent and 45 percent higher, respectively. This leaves A&E with only two of executive producer Carlton Cuse's original series left: Bates Motel; and the upcoming adaptation of the French zombie drama – " The Returned ".
