Frank Darabont to rewrite Godzilla script (Topic)

Godzilla Movie Remake got a new, very significant participant. According to the publication Deadline, the final version of the script will be written by the creator of the Green Mile. and The Shawshank Redemption Frank Darabont.

Darabont has a lot of experience working on such projects: he previously wrote scripts for movies such as `` Mist '' and Frankenstein, and was also the creator of the television series The Walking Dead.

Previously, Drew Pearce was assigned to handle the plot of the remake. Shooting Godzilla is expected to be start in March 2013. The creators promised to stick to the classic Japanese monster design and interpretation. The director's post is taken by the author of Monsters Gareth Edwards.
