Just a couple of months before the premiere of the cartoon Despicable Me 2 Al Pacino refused to participate in the project. This is reported by the publication Deadline. The famous Hollywood actor was supposed to voice the villain named El Macho. Some creative differences are indicated as the reason. Studio Illumination Entertainment was able to quickly find a replacement in the person of actor Benjamin Bratt. As a reminder, the cartoon will start in the USA on July 3, 2013.
