In Odessa, Lenin was turned into Darth Vader
In Odessa, a monument to the leader of the world proletariat, Vladimir Lenin, was turned into a monument to Darth Vader through the efforts of local artist Alexander Milov. This is reported by the network edition "Dumskaya". The sculpture, installed on the territory of the "Pressmash" plant, was subject to destruction in accordance with the new laws on the "decommunization" of the country. The unique transformation made it possible to keep the statue in its original place. The original sculpture has been reinforced and given the details that distinguish Lord Sith from Vladimir Lenin. Vader's accessories are said to have been crafted from a titanium alloy to ensure their durability. Note that the Sith Lord is a very popular character in Ukraine in general and in Odessa in particular. A candidate from the Internet Party of Ukraine named Darth Vader has repeatedly tried to take part in elections at various levels, including the presidential one. In the fall of 2015, a special petition for the appointment of Darth Vader as Prime Minister of Ukraine received more than 25 thousand votes on the website of the President of the country, that is, it overcame the barrier specified by law for official consideration by the head of state.
