Hans Zimmer will no longer write music for movies based on DC comics. According to the resource ComicbookMovie, this statement was made by the popular Hollywood composer himself in an interview with the British TV channel BBC.

According to Zimmer, the work on the soundtrack for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was extremely difficult and he is very happy that musician Janki Ex-El took on some of the responsibilities. No comment from Warner Bros. and director Zach Sanyder, who planned to continue working with Zimmer while working on the Justice League dilogy, has not followed at the time of writing.

Recall that Hans Zimmer has been writing music for movie projects based on DC comics since the beginning of production of "Batman Begins". In the future, the composer intends to continue cooperation with its creator Christopher Nolan, who is going to shoot a war drama called Dunkirk, dedicated to the famous rescue operation during the Second World War.

Zimmer has repeatedly claimed prestigious cinematic awards in the past, but he has only one Oscar for the soundtrack to The Lion King.
