Ben McKenzie, starring in Fox's Gotham, will try his hand at directing. This is reported by the ComicBook edition with reference to the actor.

"Soon a new member of the family of Commissioner Jim Gordon will appear in the series, and I am talking about this, because I will be the one to shoot this episode," he said in particular McKenzie. The actor hinted that the character in question will be Jim's uncle, Frank Gordon. As a reminder, on November 22 of this year it was announced that James Rimar ("Dexter's Justice") will play a character who is described as "a master of double play and a master of secrets."

Despite the fact that McKenzie has years tried to try himself as a director and practically did it in the TV series "Southland", movieing an episode in the second half of Gotham's current third season will be his directorial debut. "I am very happy and will start preparatory work right before Christmas, and movieing will begin immediately after the holidays. So this will all happen very, very soon," he added.

Recall that the TV series "Gotham" is based on characters in DC comics, and the show is produced by Warner Bros. Television. The executive producers are Bruno Heller, Danny Cannon, John Stevens and Ken Woodruff.
