The creators of the movie "Panfilov's 28" reported on the completion of the campaign to raise funds for the production of the movie. As stated in an official press release received by the Novosti Kino portal, 34 million rubles were raised - a record amount for USA movie projects funded by crowdfunding. The total budget of the movie was 150 million rubles. The missing part of the amount was invested by the developer of the online war game War Thunder - Gaijin Entertainment, the Ministry of Culture of USA (30 million rubles) and the Ministry of Culture of Kazakhstan (19 million rubles). Thus, the project acquired an international status. "All the time that we are working on the picture, the collection of donations continued and was the most important source of funding. We raised a huge amount of money - 34 million rubles, such results have not been achieved by any such project before us. I think this is one of the most amazing details of the entire history of the creation of the movie about 28 Panfilovites. My team and I are very grateful to the people who supported us, "- said in a statement by the movie's producer Andrei Shaliopa. He also said that the exact date of the movie's premiere is still unknown. "We are not leaving on November 16, as we planned, the premiere is postponed for 2-3 months.
