Oliver Queen's new love interest will appear in Arrow
Oliver Queen will have a new girlfriend. According to Entertainment Weekly, Elicia Rotaru ("I'm a Zombie") will play Green Arrow's love interest (Stephen Amell) in the fourth season of The CW's "Arrow". For fans of the series who rejoiced when Oliver, finally "dashed into the sunset" with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), the news may sound absurd. However, do not worry, "Olicity" is not in danger. Rotaru's character will appear in Oliver's flashback scenes and will not rival Felicity. With the new role, Rotaru will continue her collaboration with The CW, where she starred in the TV series Supernatural and I Am a Zombie. Rotaru's appointment was announced following the news that Rutina Wesley (True Blood " ) is in talks to movie the show and that Parker Young ("Recruited") has been approved for the love interest of Oliver's sister, Thea (Will Holland). The cast are part of the series' growing cast, which at the time of this writing is listed as "newbies": British actor Jimmy Ekinbola (Reiter / Baron Blitzkrieg), Neil McDonough (Damien Dark), Alexander Calvert (Lonnie McHean / Anarchy) and Echo Kellum (Dr. Curtis Holt / Mr. Terrific). Falk Henschel will play the role of Carter Hall / Hawkman, and Danish actor Kasper Crump – Vandal Savage in the crossover episodes of Arrow and The Flash before appearing in their spin-off, Legends of Tomorrow Telecomic.
