One of the characters on HBO's Game of Thrones, who has been absent for the entire fifth season due to his alleged death, may return in the upcoming sixth season of the show. According to information published on the Watchers on the Wall fan site, Rory McCann, who plays Sandor Clegane the Dog, was spotted at a hotel in Belfast where HBO actors often stay during the movieing of the series.
McCann at the time of this writing, it is not associated with any other project, so the actor has no other reason to be in Belfast, on the main production "base" of the show, where the sixth season is currently being movieed.
Recall that younger brother of Grigor Clegan (Haftor Julius Bjernson), Sandor, was fatally wounded in a fight with Brienne Tart (Gwendoline Christie) in the final episode of the fourth season, Children. Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), despite his requests, refused to help the Dog die, took all the money and left him to his fate. However, Dog's death was not shown.
In addition to Rory McCann, Natalia Tena (Osh), Art Parkinson (Rickon Stark) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) were also spotted in Belfast.
Recently, it was announced that Max von Sydow and Ian McShane were confirmed for the sixth season of Game of Thrones, which will be released in spring 2016.
