Hugh Jackman congratulates Ryan Reynolds on receiving a Star on the Walk of Fame
Hugh Jackman congratulated his fellow X-Men Ryan Reynolds on receiving a personalized Star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. The actor recorded a humorous video message on behalf of Reynolds himself, in which he briefly listed the important stages of the latter's working life. While giving his speech, Jackman covered his face with a large photograph of Reynolds, thus repeating the technique that was used in the painting "Deadpool". In particular, he said that Reynolds sought to build his career as his idol, the best actor of all time, Hugh Jackman. He also recalled that Reynolds starred in Green Lantern, which became the "12th most successful DC movie of all time," and was voted 2011 "Sexiest Man on the Planet". Jackman also emphasized that he himself received this honor much earlier, and that is why Reynolds has since been so eager to write the same paragraph in his biography as his idol. The ceremony for laying down Ryan Reynolds' personalized Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame took place on December 15, 2016. It was attended by the creators of the movie "Deadpool" Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
