Christopher Lloyd will travel back in time
Holy saints! Doc Brown's Rodi performer Christopher Lloyd is ready to take a trip back in time. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, the star of the Back to the Future franchise will guest star in the third season of the 12 Monkeys sci-fi series. Lloyd will play Zalmon Shaw, the charming but dangerous leader of the apocalyptic cult seeks out people who survived tragedies and losses in order to make them new members of the "Army of Twelve Monkeys". Zalmon Shaw is the father of the series' most impressive villain - the mysterious Scar Man (Tom Noonen). According to information provided by the Syfy channel, in the upcoming third season of the series, James Cole (Aaron Stanford) and Dr. Cassandra Riley (Amanda Schull) will make a desperate attempt to travel back in time to find the man responsible for the apocalypse - a time traveler who calls himself a Witness. Killing a Witness will save humanity, but the journey will require incredible personal effort on the part of Cole and Amanda and will challenge new alliances, old connections and the effectiveness of the mission itself.
