Producer Charles Rowen, who has overseen the production of all Warner Bros. movies since 2005. based on DC comics, explained his sudden suspension after the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. According to him, which is quoted by The Hollywood Reporter, the hectic flight schedule did not suit him.

"The studio appointed me the producer of all DC projects, and in total there were eight announced. When we made the schedules, we looked at each other and said:" This is very ambitious, but we did not take into account that something might go wrong. "We hadn't decided where exactly these movies would be movieed. It was difficult for me to move between Toronto, London and Italy, and it became clear that I simply could not perform production functions," he said.

Charles Rowen also confirmed earlier suggestions that the following DC comics-based movies after Batman v Superman, primarily Justice League, will be significantly more "fun". "We did a very serious, impressive Batman and Superman project from the beginning. Now the bell has rung and the overall tone of the movie will be much easier," he added.

Recall that the suspension of Rowena from the development of promising paintings based on comics became known in May 2016, after "Batman v Superman" did not earn the amount that the leadership of Warner Bros. counted on.
