Four years after starring in the first season of American Horror Story anthology, Nashville star Connie Britton will re-star in Ryan Murphy's project, this time in American Crime Story: The People vs. O. J. Simpson "channel FX. Murphy himself announced this on his Twitter page, leaving the following message: "I'm happy to announce that my friend Connie Britton will play Faye Resnick in the upcoming FX miniseries The People vs. OJ Simpson.

American Horror Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson is the first season of the Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk anthology, based on Jeffrey Tubin's bestselling novel The Run of His Life: The People v. OJ Simpson. "The first ten-episode season will show the trial of OJ Simpson through the eyes of lawyers and show the chaotic behind-the-scenes deals and maneuvering on both sides. The emphasis will be on how the unwavering confidence of the prosecution, the testimony and history of the relationship between the LAPD and the African American community - all together left the jury in doubt.

Britton will play Resnick, the LA gossip heroine and girlfriend of Simpson's ex-wife, Nicole Brown.
