Nicolas Cage will star in the comedy "The Lonely Army", which is going to be movieed by the creator of "Borat" Larry Charles. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will focus on the hunt for terrorist number one Osamu bin Laden.

The project, curated by Endgame Entertainment and Conde Nast Entertainment, will be based on an article in GQ magazine that featured Colorado resident Gary Faulkner. The latter, armed with a sword, tried many times to enter the territory of Afghanistan and Pakistan to find Osama bin Laden.

Filming is expected to begin in March with a premiere at the end of the year. Let's remind that the last work of Larry Charles - the movie "The Dictator" was presented to the audience in 2012. The movie paid off at the box office, but its success was much more modest than previous joint projects between the director and Sasha Baron Cohen. Thus, Borat, with a production budget of only $ 18 million, earned more than 260 million worldwide at the box office.

As for Nicolas Cage, in 2015 viewers will be able to see him in the thriller "Dying Light". The actor also did not rule out that he would once again return to the image of Ben Gates in the sequel to "National Treasures".
