Star Wars Episode 8 will be movieed at Pinewood Studios in London. This was announced on his official Twitter page by the head of the British Treasury, George Osborne.

"Episode Eight will be 'made in the UK', which means an investment of 100 million (pounds) and over three thousand new jobs," the official wrote. It's worth noting that the creators of Star Wars maintain a long tradition of collaboration with the British studio. It was in its pavilions that the movie "Star Wars: Episode 4 - A New Hope" was partially movieed, and here some scenes of the first part of the new trilogy "Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens" were created.

Star Wars: Episode 8 is expected to begin movieing in early 2016. Ryan Johnson has been appointed director and has credited such movies as The Looper and The Brothers Bloom. The premiere is scheduled for May 26, 2017.

Recall that in December 2015 the premiere of the movie "Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens" will take place, which will launch a new trilogy. In addition to full-length add-ons, Walt Disney and Lucasmovie plan to expand the Star Wars universe with a variety of print, electronic, and comic books.
