Bethesda and MyMiniFactory have made a replica of the BFG cannon from Doom. According to Gamespot, this huge weapon is fully 3D printed at a 1: 1 scale.

The original model was a BFG game model that Bethesda provided to a partner. Chief Designer Kirby Downey spent 35 hours editing and preparing it for print. MyMiniFactory split the model into over 70 parts, which took about a thousand hours (some took a month to build).

And process manager Sarah Wade completed the process by painting and joining parts to make the BFG look just like its counterpart in this year's "Doom". According to Bethesda's representatives, the replica of the gun is huge and very heavy. So much so that in order it takes several adults to hold it.

As a reminder, one of the fans on YouTube has already tried to reproduce this weapon, having assembled it from "Lego". To do this, he needed more than five thousand blocks, and this sample weighed as much as 20 pounds (nine kilograms).

Recall that the fourth game in the Doom series, designed to restart the franchise, was released on May 13, 2016 on PC , Xbox One and PlayStation 4, receiving high age ratings and good reviews.
