The DreamWorks movie studio intends to make a movie based on the script by the creator of "Jurassic World" Colin Trevorrow, which was written many years ago. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
The plot will focus on a brilliant scientist who travels back in time to save his time machine, leaving his son and grandson with instructions on how to recreate it in the present to help him return and at the same time prevent intruders from using the device.
Studio Columbia Pictures planned to transfer these ideas to the big screen seven years ago, but then the movie adaptation did not take place. After the resounding success of Jurassic World, the script was again in demand. It is expected that Trevorrow will take the position of the producer of the project, who will act as director, has not yet been specified. The project is said to be inspired by Steven Spielberg's early sci-fi movies Amblin.
Recall that "Jurassic World" became the highest-grossing movie project in 2015, earning more than $ 1.6 billion worldwide. In 2018, viewers will be presented with a sequel to the movie. Colin Trevorrow will prepare his script, but will relinquish the director's post to a yet to be named successor.
