The sequel to the fantastic movie "Prometheus" has received the official title "Alien: Paradise Lost". Director Ridley Scott told about this in an interview with HeyUGuys. The inspiration was the work of the English poet John Milton "Paradise Lost", which tells about the fall of man.

"Do you know this poem? - asked the director of the correspondents who spoke with him. - I'm sure you've never read it in full. It sounds intellectual, and we will have some common points." The action of the picture will mainly take place on the mysterious planet of Engineers. Earlier, Ridley Scott claimed that he would not play the classic xenomorph on the screen again, but would delight the audience with other monsters, including hybrid Engineers and aliens.

Filming for the sequel will start in February 2016, the premiere date at the time of this writing has not been specified. Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender will play the main roles again.

In one of the previous interviews, the director said that he was ready to shoot at least three sequels of "Prometheus", however, the further fate of the project, obviously, will be decided after assessing the financial viability of "Paradise Lost". Let us remind you that the world box office receipts of Prometheus itself left much to be desired.
