Tom Holland will star in The Lost City of Z
Tom Holland, who will appear in the image of Spider-Man in 2016, has joined the cast of the adventure movie "The Lost City of Z". This is reported by the Comingsoon edition. The project will be based on the eponymous work of the writer David Grann and it will focus on the famous British archaeologist and traveler Percy Fawcett, who was searching for the lost cities of ancient civilizations in South America. The material collected during the expeditions allowed Fawcett conclude that in the remote regions of Brazil there is a mysterious city Z, according to legend, founded by the Atlanteans. In 1925, Fawcett went looking for him with his son Jack and a friend. It is still unknown whether the travelers reached their goal. In a recent message, Fawcett had strongly advised against looking for him and his companions unless they returned on time. However, searches were still undertaken, but were not crowned with success. Filming for the movie, in which Sienna Miller, Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattinson agreed to play key roles, have already started in Ireland. In the future, the movie crew will move to Colombia.
