Peggy Carter fans will have to be patient. As reported by ComingSoon with reference to Marvel, the premiere of the second season of the series "Agent Carter" has been postponed for two weeks. Instead of its scheduled debut on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, the series will only return with a second season on January 19. The reason for the schedule change is the annual Presidential Address to the US Congress, which will be broadcast on ABC on January 12, 2016.

Season 2, which will consist of ten episodes, will continue the adventures of Agent Carter (Hayley Atwell) working for the secret organization Strategic Scientific Reserve. Dedicated to tackling new threats in the immediate aftermath of World War II, Peggy must travel from New York City to Los Angeles on an incredibly dangerous mission. New friends, a new home and perhaps a new love – all of this could come to an end when Peggy discovers that the bright lights of post-war Hollywood are an even more sinister threat to everyone she has vowed to protect.

The second season stars James D'Arcy, Chad Michael Murray and Enver Gyokay. Supporting actors include Dominic Cooper, Wynn Everett, Reggie Austin, Curry Graham, Bridget Regan, Lotte Verbeek, Leslie Boone, Ken Marino and Kertwood Smith.
